We then head to Ica, famous for its dunes, oasis, and vineyards. We will continue our journey further south to the charming city of Arequipa, famous for its buildings constructed from white volcanic stone (sillar) and the silhouette of the Misti Volcano. Here, we will explore one of Arequipa's most important tours: the Colca Canyon, as well as the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
The tour continues to Puno (the folklore capital of Peru), next to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, where you can discover the floating islands of the Uros people and the traditions of their inhabitants.
Later, we will arrive in Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire and the starting point for Machu Picchu. In this city, you can appreciate the fusion of pre-Hispanic and colonial cultures through its archaeological sites and artisan markets.
Finally, the trip concludes in Madre de Dios, where nature and biodiversity will offer a unique and unforgettable experience.
