ITINERARY

DAY 01: “ARRIVAL IN LIMA”

Upon arrival in Lima, either by plane or by road, one of our representatives will greet you with a sign with your name on it. Afterwards, you will be escorted to our tourist transportation, which will take you comfortably to your hotel. There you will be able to settle in and rest after your trip.

The rest of the day will be free for you to discover the city at your own pace and enjoy the main attractions of the Peruvian capital.

DAY 02: “LIMA CITY TOUR - WATER CIRCUIT”

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotels to begin this adventure. Our first stop will be at the Parque del Amor, from where we will be able to admire a beautiful and romantic view of the Pacific Ocean. Then, we will head to Huaca Pucllana, an important pre-Inca archaeological site, where our guide will explain its history from the outside.

Continuing with our tour, we will visit the historic center of Lima with a walking tour. During the walk, we will visit the Basilica, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the Church and Convent of San Francisco, which stand out for their subway crypts, known as the “Catacombs”. At the end of this stage, we will have a demonstration class and a tasting of pisco sour, the typical Peruvian drink.

Finally, we will take a tour of about an hour to visit the 13 ornamental fountains of the city, famous for their light and music shows. The fantasy fountain, with its 120 meters long and 20 meters wide, is the most impressive, as the water is synchronized with the music in a spectacular choreography.

DAY 03: “FULL DAY ICA - PARACAS”

On the third day of our trip, we will stop for a nutritious breakfast that will include freshly brewed coffee, artisan breads, and natural juices typical of the area.

Later, around 9:30 a.m., we will prepare to depart for the Paracas pier, where we will board a boat bound for the Ballestas Islands. During the sea voyage, we will have the opportunity to observe the mysterious geoglyph known as "El Candelabro," engraved on a hill, as well as diverse marine life, including sea lions, penguins, pelicans, guano birds, and, with a bit of luck, dolphins.

After the sea excursion, we will head to Ica for lunch at the "Cultur Pisco" restaurant and vineyard. There, we will not only sample the region's distinctive flavors but also learn about the wine and pisco production process, including a guided tasting of these typical beverages.

We will then continue to the Huacachina Oasis, where we will experience an exciting adventure on tubular tubes and sandboarding on the desert dunes, a perfect place to take stunning photos and create unforgettable memories.

To end the day, we will board a tour bus to the city of Nazca, where you will have time to rest or prepare for the next day's activities.

DAY 04: “ICA - NAZCA LINES”

Our excursion to the Nazca Lines begins with a transfer to the Ica aerodrome, a place specialized in tourist flights. There we will prepare for the exciting overflight that will allow us to contemplate from the air the impressive Nazca geoglyphs.

Before taking off, we will receive a brief introduction that will provide us with information about the historical and cultural context of these enigmatic figures drawn in the desert.

During the flight, we will be able to appreciate some of the most iconic images, such as the hummingbird, the monkey, the spider, the condor, the dog, the astronaut and the whale. These enormous creations, which are only visible from the sky, stand out for their precision and symbolic meaning.

At the end of the flight, we will return to your hotel so you can rest. Later, we will board the tourist bus that will take us back to Lima, culminating an unforgettable experience full of history, mystery and amazing landscapes.

DAY 05: “AREQUIPA CITY TOUR AND COUNTRYSIDE TOUR”

At the beginning of our fifth day of adventure, we will pick you up at your accommodation to board the Mirabus and begin an entertaining panoramic tour of the city of Arequipa. We will start with a visit to the picturesque neighborhood of Yanahuara, famous for its colonial architecture and its emblematic viewpoint of arches. From this place, you can appreciate impressive urban landscapes and privileged views of the volcanoes, all while enjoying the typical ice cheese, a highly appreciated local dessert.

Then, we will go to the Carmen Alto viewpoint, located in the district of Cayma, from where a spectacular panoramic view of the Arequipa countryside and the Chilina valley can be appreciated.

The adventure continues with a visit to the Inka Alpaca store, where you will have the opportunity to purchase typical handicrafts and visit a small zoo with Andean camelids, such as llamas and alpacas.

Later, we will move to the historic mansion of Manuel García Carbajal, considered the founder of Arequipa, to delve into the rich history of this beautiful city. Closing the tour, we will go to the Sabandía mill, an ideal place to rest, capture beautiful photographs and, if you prefer, live a different experience with horseback or ATV rides.

DAY 06: “AREQUIPA - COLCA CANYON”

On the sixth day of our expedition, between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel to begin our journey to the impressive Colca Canyon. On the way, we will circle the Chachani volcano while crossing the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, a unique ecosystem where you can enjoy the rich diversity of Andean flora and fauna such as the vicuña, guanacos, Andean flamingos and vizcachas.

We will make a brief stop at Patahuasi, a site famous for its impressive rock formations that always surprise visitors. Along the way, we will also have the opportunity to observe llamas, alpacas and vast wetlands of Toqra pampa that adorn the altiplanic landscape.

We will continue our journey until we reach Patapampa, which is located at 4,850 meters above sea level, making it the highest point on our route. Known as the “Viewpoint of the Volcanoes”, it is the perfect place to take pictures and admire the tranquility of the altiplano surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks. From this point, we will begin our descent to the charming town of Chivay, where a typical lunch will be waiting for us, allowing us to recover our energy.

After lunch, we will accompany you to your assigned hotel in Chivay so that you can settle in comfortably. Later, you will have the opportunity to relax in the hot springs, an ideal moment to rest after an intense day.

DAY 07: “COLCA CANYON - CONDOR’S CROSS - ARRIVAL IN PUNO”

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 6:20 a.m. and transfer back to Chivay, where we will meet up with the group to begin our journey. From there, we will embark on a short drive of approximately one hour to the famous Cross of the Condor viewpoint, one of the most iconic locations in the region. From this vantage point, we will have the opportunity to witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor and admire the impressive depths of the Colca Canyon.

On the return trip, we will make several stops to enjoy the scenery from various natural viewpoints. We will also visit charming towns such as Maca, where you can see its colonial-style church and, if you wish, enjoy a refreshing Sancayo pisco sour (optional). We will also visit the town of Yanque, known for its authenticity and traditional customs. We will then return to Chivay to enjoy our lunch featuring local products.

After lunch, we will take the tourist bus to Puno. During the tour, we will make brief stops at sites of interest such as the Mirador de los Volcanes, Patahuasi, and the Lagunillas Lagoon, ideal locations for taking photos and enjoying the Andean surroundings.

We are scheduled to arrive in Puno at approximately 7:30 p.m., where one of our representatives will be waiting to take you to your assigned accommodation.

DAY 08: “PUNO - FULL DAY UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS”

Beginning a new stage of our journey, we will head towards one of the most iconic places in the Puno region; uros floating islands. These unique islands, handcrafted by their inhabitants on Lake Titicaca, are made of totora reeds, a typical aquatic plant of the area. During the visit, you will discover how this ancient community has preserved its traditions, using totora reeds not only as a base for their houses, but also as a fundamental part of their daily life.

During the tour, you will appreciate the textile art and local handicrafts, which reflect centuries of history and the deep relationship they have with the natural environment that surrounds them.

Afterwards, we will head to Taquile island, internationally recognized for its cultural heritage and traditional weavings, which have been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. There, the inhabitants express their identity and social hierarchy through the art of weaving. You will have the opportunity to observe live demonstrations performed by the locals themselves, as well as enjoy folkloric dance presentations and other cultural expressions.

The day will culminate with a traditional lunch on the island, accompanied by a beautiful view of Lake Titicaca. The menu will include a light starter, a main course which is usually grilled trout with local garnishes and hot drinks prepared with typical herbs. For those who prefer, vegetarian options will also be available.

DAY 09: “ROUTE OF THE SUN: PUNO TO CUSCO”

We will begin our adventure along the route of the sun, with the transfer from the hotel to the historic city of Cusco. Along the way, we will be able to admire the landscapes of the highlands and the colorful villages that embellish the road. Also, we will be able to observe sites such as the Urcos Lagoon, the Huacarpay Lagoon and the Vilcanota River, which will accompany us during most of our trip along the famous Ruta del Sol.

We will start our visit in Pucara, famous for its traditional ancestral pottery and its museum specialized in stone figures. Then, we will continue ascending until we reach the highest point of the route: the pass of La Raya, from where we can contemplate the snow-capped mountains and the source of the Vilcanota River.

We will continue the route with a break to enjoy a buffet lunch at the San Pedro restaurant, which offers a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian, meat and fish options.

Afterwards, we will visit the archaeological complex of Raqchi, renowned for its constructions dedicated to the god Wiracocha, which will allow us to learn more about the magnificence of the Inca Empire.

Before arriving in Cusco, we will make a last stop in Andahuaylillas, famous for its colonial church, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America” or “chapel of andahuaylillas” due to its impressive murals. If time permits, we will also visit Oropesa, a town known for its traditional pan chuta.

Finally, we will conclude the day by arriving in Cusco, where we will drop you off at your hotel so you can rest or explore the city at your own pace.

DAY 10: “CITY TOUR CUSCO”

On this new day of adventure, we will pick you up at your accommodation for the guided tour of Cusco and its surroundings. We will start at Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred places of the Inca Empire, dedicated to pay homage to the sun through an architecture that still surprises for its precision and grandeur.

We will then move to the outskirts of the city to explore some of the most important archaeological complexes surrounding the Inca capital. Our first stop will be at Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial fortress famous for its massive stones that fit together with remarkable accuracy, reflecting the advanced engineering knowledge of the Incas.

We will continue to Qenqo, a ceremonial site where religious rituals linked to the symbolism of the puma and other elements of the Andean cosmovision are believed to have been performed.

Then we will head to Pucapucara, famous as the “red fortress” due to the reddish color that its walls adopt at sunset. It is thought that this structure served as a guard post or resting place for travelers of the Inca nobility.

Finally, we will visit Tambomachay, an architectural complex dedicated to the cult of water, with systems of canals and fountains designed with great precision, which was probably also a place of retreat for the Inca elite.

To close this tour full of history and culture, we will take you back to your hotel so you can rest or continue exploring Cusco at your own pace.

DAY 11: “MOUNTAIN OF COLORS”

We continue our tour of Cusco with an excursion to one of the most iconic natural landscapes of Peru: Vinicunca, also known as the Mountain of Seven Colors. Located more than 5,000 meters above sea level, this geological wonder stands out for its vibrant shades of red, green, yellow and violet, product of the presence of various minerals over the centuries.

The day starts very early, between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., when we will pick you up at your lodging to go to the district of Cusipata, where we will stop to enjoy a typical Andean breakfast around 7:00 a.m.

Then we will continue by vehicle for approximately 40 minutes to the starting point of the hike. From there, we will begin an ascent of about two hours, crossing high plateaus and puna areas where it is common to see llamas, alpacas and snow-capped mountains.

Once at the summit, you will be able to relax, take pictures and contemplate the impressive and unique beauty of Vinicunca, a scenery that fascinates all who visit it.

After the rest, we will return by the same route to the starting point. Later, we will stop in Cusipata to enjoy a traditional lunch in the region.

Finally, we will return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival at your hotel around 5:30 p.m., taking with us the unforgettable memory of having explored one of the country’s most impressive natural treasures.

DAY 12: “SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - ARRIVAL TO MACHUPICCHU TOWN”

The twelfth day of our tour will begin with pick-up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., and then we will continue our excursion through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first stop will be at the archaeological park of Pisac, famous for its agricultural terraces and ceremonial constructions that dominate the landscape of the valley. Then, we will descend to the town of Pisac, where we will visit its vibrant handicraft market, full of colorful textiles, traditional ceramics and typical products of the area.

Continuing along the Vilcanota River, we will arrive in Urubamba, where we will enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, appreciating the authentic flavors of Andean gastronomy and the culinary richness of the valley.

In the afternoon, we will visit the citadel of Ollantaytambo, a fortress that combined military and agricultural functions. Strolling through its cobblestone streets, we will explore its urban design and the valuable historical legacy preserved by this still inhabited community.

Before continuing on to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), we will make a brief stop in Chinchero, renowned for its textile tradition. There, you will be able to observe traditional demonstrations of spinning and dyeing alpaca wool using ancestral methods, as well as visit the ruins that once belonged to the palace of Túpac Inca Yupanqui.

Finally, from Ollantaytambo we will board the train that will take us to Hot Waters, where a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel and prepare you for the visit to the impressive Machu Picchu.

>DAY 13: “MACHUPICCHU CITADEL VISIT”

Starting with the thirteenth day, we will pick you up to go to the bus station and begin the transfer to one of the most important places in Peru: Machu Picchu.

Arriving at the summit, we will take a guided tour of the most important areas of the historic sanctuary. We will visit important ceremonial constructions such as the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Sacred Plaza. During the tour, the guide will share details about the spiritual, astronomical, and social significance of these spaces. In addition, we will learn about the agricultural terraces and the sophisticated hydraulic system that reflect the advanced Inca engineering.

After the visit, we will go down by bus to Machu Picchu town (Hot Waters), where you will have free time to have lunch, explore the charming village, visit its handicrafts market or the Manuel Chávez Ballón Museum. You can also relax by the Urubamba River.

Finally, in the afternoon, we will accompany you to the station to take the train back to Cusco, culminating this unforgettable experience.

According to the schedule indicated on your ticket, we will transfer you to the Cusco airport or bus terminal. Our staff will be punctual at the place and time, ensuring a comfortable and safe transfer so that you arrive safely to your flight or return destination.
