Be part of one of the most dynamic experiences in the city of Cusco, also known as the navel of the world. Within these six days, you'll discover the Andean landscapes, ancestral traditions, and rich history that make this ancient city a unique destination in Peru.
Cusco is not only home to one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu, but also stands out for its natural landscapes and vibrant culture. On this tour, you'll visit Inca temples such as Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay, Qoricancha, and Qenqo, destinations that are part of the traditional City Tour. You will have the opportunity to explore one of Peru's most stunning natural wonders: Rainbow Mountain, a geological formation of great national significance.
And, of course, the tour culminates in Machu Picchu, the jewel of the Andean world. Before arriving, you'll explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, stopping at archaeological sites like Chinchero and Moray, as well as the impressive Maras Salt Mines, among other attractions in this mystical valley.
If you want authentic experiences and unforgettable moments, this tour will allow you to discover the best of the imperial city.
Upon arrival in Cusco, either by land at the bus terminal or by air at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, one of our agents will be waiting for you next to a sign with your name on it. After a cordial welcome, we will escort you in our tour vehicle to your accommodation so you can settle in, relax, and prepare for your scheduled tour.
According to our schedule, we will pick you up directly from your hotel to begin the City Tour, a tour that will take us to the city's most important historical sites.
We’ll start our tour at Qoricancha, the famed Temple of the Sun, considered one of the most iconic landmarks of Inca Cusco. This temple is also the starting point for the Inti Raymi celebration.
Next, we'll head to the impressive Sacsayhuamán fortress, located about 5 kilometers from the historic center, at an altitude of approximately 3,700 meters above sea level. This archaeological complex is notable for its monumental stonework and is the focal point of the Inti Raymi celebration.
The tour then proceeds to Qenqo, a historic ceremonial site where rituals and offerings once took place. We’ll move on to Pucapucara, the so-called "red fortress," named for the reddish tones it displays at sunset. Finally, we’ll visit Tambomachay, a sacred complex of fountains and water channels that exemplifies the Incas’ sophisticated hydraulic engineering and their deep spiritual bond with water.

The Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca, is located in the province of Canchis, in the department of Cusco, at an altitude of approximately 5,020 meters above sea level. It is considered one of the most spectacular geological formations in the world, due to the natural combination of minerals that give it its characteristic colors, surprising all visitors.
The trip to Rainbow Mountain begins very early, departing from our hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., heading to the town of Cusipata. Upon arrival, we enjoy a breakfast prepared with local products around 7:00 a.m.
After 40 minutes, we begin a nearly two-hour hike to reach the panoramic viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain. During the hike, you can appreciate beautiful Andean landscapes, rest, and take memorable photographs.
We return to the vehicle two hours after reaching Vinicunca Mountain. Before embarking on the return trip to Cusco, we have lunch in Cusipata. Finally, we arrive at the hotel in Cusco at approximately 5:00 p.m.

On the third day of our adventure, around 6:30 a.m., one of our representatives will visit your accommodation and escort you to the tour bus boarding point. From there, we will begin our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, located about 40 kilometers from the city of Cusco.
Our first stop will be Chinchero, an archaeological site that still preserves the essence of the Inca era. In this ancient farming village, we will visit the historic House of Túpac Inca Yupanqui. Chinchero is also known for its rich textile tradition, where talented artisans produce colorful pieces that keep ancient techniques alive.
We will then head to Moray, a unique set of circular terraces that served as an agricultural experimentation center. Thanks to its different microclimates at each level, the Incas were able to adapt and develop various crops, turning this place into a true pre-Hispanic agricultural laboratory.
Our route continues to the Maras salt mines, a stunning landscape made up of more than 3,000 salt pools. Fed by an underground spring from the Qoripukuy hill, also known as the "golden fountain," these pools have been used since pre-Inca times by local families, who maintain this ancient practice to this day.
After this experience, we will continue to the city of Urubamba, where a buffet lunch awaits us with a delicious selection of typical dishes from the region. We will then embark on a 30-minute drive to Ollantaytambo. This important archaeological complex was a key base for the administration and defense of the Inca empire, and played a vital role in the strategic control of the Sacred Valley.
