CUSCO AND INTI RAYMI

Enjoy a 4 day, 3 night trip to Cusco and be part of the Inti Raymi celebration. The tour includes a guided tour of the city's most important historical sites, such as Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay, and Qorikancha, giving you a closer and more authentic experience of the Andean and colonial heritage.

You'll also enjoy one of the most representative events of the imperial city and Peru: Inti Raymi, an ancient ceremony honoring the Sun God that takes place every June 24th. The celebration takes place in three locations in Cusco: the Qorikancha, an ancient temple dedicated to the Sun; the historic main place, also known as Huacaypata; and the monumental Sacsayhuamán fortress.

If you are drawn to the ancient traditions and customs of the imperial city, Inti Raymi 2025 is an experience you can't miss. This Andean festival pays homage to the Sun God and recreates rituals from the ancient Inca Empire with scenes that combine culture, identity, and connection with the Cusco environment.

The ceremony begins at the Qorikancha (from 9:00 to 10:00 am), the ancient Temple of the Sun, where the Inca meets the sun with traditional dances and music, evoking the beginning of a new solar era. Then, in the Plaza de Armas (from 10:00 am to 11:30 am), the Inca greets his people and authorities, a symbolic act of unity and recognition. Finally, on the Sacsayhuamán esplanade (from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm), the central part of Inti Raymi takes place, with a theatrical performance that includes dances, songs and rituals highlighting the Andean view of existence and the interrelationship among humans, the natural world, and the universe.
