5-day graduation trip tour visiting Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain. A complete tour to enjoy culture, nature, and adventure with your classmates.
Cusco, once the heart of the Inca Empire, serves as a perfect gateway for exploring many of Peru’s most remarkable attractions. Steeped in history, culture, and the beauty of the Andes, the city welcomes visitors to wander its colonial streets and squares while venturing to famous archaeological and natural landmarks nearby.
Among the main experiences you can enjoy are the classic Cusco City Tour, which covers the main historical sites near the city; the exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with its traditional villages and spectacular views; and, of course, a visit to the iconic Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Finally, the adventure is completed with a hike to the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), a place unique in the world for its striking multicolored stripes.
Cusco is much more than a city; it’s the gateway to an unforgettable journey through the history of the Andes.
Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, is a place where ancestral traditions and stone constructions continue to give life to Andean culture. From this historic city, travelers can explore sites full of historical and spiritual value.
The usual tour begins with the Cusco City Tour, which includes the Qoricancha temple; Sacsayhuamán (famous for its gigantic stones); Qenqo; Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, places that still manifest the Inca essence.
The route continues to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where the Salt Mines of Maras stand out, with their artisanal salt pools, and Moray, an impressive set of circular terraces used by the Incas for agricultural research.
But this adventure would not be complete without the main attraction of Cusco: Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of Inca architecture nestled in the mountain. This journey continues to the Rainbow Mountain, famous for its natural multicolored stripes.
Each of these destinations allows you to live an authentic experience between the Inca legacy and the beauty of Cusco’s landscapes.
Ready for a new dose of excitement and unique experiences? On our first day, we will arrive at the Imperial City, where you will be welcomed at the airport or bus terminal; one of our representatives will be waiting with a sign bearing your name, and then we will transfer in our tourist vehicle to the hotel.
After resting for a moment or unpacking, we will begin picking you up from the hotels to start the city tour and visit nearby ruins.
Our first stop will be the most important temple of the Tahuantinsuyo empire, locally known as the Temple of the Sun, Qoricancha is considered one of the most sacred temples of the Inca Empire; it is worth mentioning that this is one of the stages where the Inti Raymi takes place.
Next, we will explore the four archaeological sites surrounding Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, a massive fortress situated about 5 km from the city; Qenqo, a ceremonial amphitheater dedicated to the Puma deity and once used for ritual sacrifices; Pucapucara, known as the “Red Fortress” because of the reddish tint its stones take on at sunset; and Tambomachay, a temple believed to be dedicated to water worship. After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel.

On our second day, around 6:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
We will start our tour by visiting the archaeological center of Chinchero, which we will reach after a 40-minute drive north of Cusco city. Chinchero is a living town that preserves the original layout from Inca times and is located in an important agricultural area. Its church and colonial-style tower, built on ancient Inca foundations, stand out. Here, you will also appreciate the work of local artisans who create textiles using ancestral techniques.
Next, we will continue to Moray, an impressive system of circular terraces built by taking advantage of natural depressions in the terrain. These terraces created microclimates that allowed the Incas to experiment with the domestication, acclimatization, and hybridization of various plant species.
We will then visit the Salt Mines of Maras, an impressive complex of more than 3,000 salt evaporation ponds that have been used since before the Inca Empire. These ponds are owned by approximately 380 local families, and the salt is extracted from a natural spring that flows from the hill called Qoripukiu (gold source).
After these visits, we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch prepared with typical products from the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon, we will continue to the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, which we will reach after about 30 minutes of travel. This site, occupied since ancient times, was an important administrative, military, social, and economic center during the Inca period, as well as a strategic control point towards various regions.
As the last stage of the day, we will take the tourist train at the Ollantaytambo station towards Machu Picchu Pueblo. The journey will be on a panoramic train offering spectacular views along the route.
Upon arrival at Machu Picchu Pueblo, a member of our team will be waiting to greet you and accompany you directly to your accommodation.

We will continue to the Temple of the Three Windows, an important ceremonial space located near the main square, where you will appreciate the precision with which the Incas worked the stone. Later, we will visit the Intihuatana, known as the “sun clock”; this mysterious structure marked the beginning of the winter solstice and, according to Inca tradition, served to “tie” the sun and prevent it from disappearing.
Throughout the tour, we will explore other enclosures of great historical and cultural relevance, revealing the mastery and spirituality of the Inca civilization.
